Sei Ambassador Program: roles and requirements

Intending to become an Ambassador? Well then, please come aboard as we embark on a long journey that will take us not days, not weeks, but months, during which you will represent the Sei project, learn how to make quality content, edit videos, write proper threads, create guidebooks, and write articles just as well as those guys from The Economist. Are you scared and not sure that you can? Then you're on the right track, Sei is about brave and strong people, about people who are willing to make history, not a big one in terms of crypto, but history, and that's exactly the kind of person you'll become during this Ambassador program.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is a pleasure to welcome you aboard our ship, whose name is Sei. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mr. Kanistra and today I will tell you everything you need to know about our ship and what you can do here. To begin with, let's talk about the rules that, if broken, will result in your being eaten by sharks.

1. Be nice to everyone. Be civil and respect your fellow Seilors. That's what you'll be called for the duration of our journey, we're all Seilors now.
2. Do not share NSFW content, whether it be text, images, or videos.
3. No trolling, spamming, discord level grinding, repeat messages, or chain messages.
4. No hate speech, political discussion, or discrimination of any kind. Period.
5. No links to other projects will be allowed.

Well, now we can talk about what you're here for and the opportunities open to you. All of you are here for a reason, many of you are new to this business, but many of you are familiar with the topic of our work, cryptocurrency, and in our case specifically the Sei. It is my duty to tell you about this project.

The Sei project is a Layer-1 blockchain that builds in the Cosmos ecosystem and aims to create a convenient infrastructure, no, not even that, to create the best infrastructure on the market for creating DEX and other trading projects. Many may say we think too highly of ourselves, but trust us, we have a lot to offer you. So in order:

1. Proprietary order matching mechanism - provides scalability of DEX order book built on Sei.
2. Breaking Tendermint - Sei - fastest chain to final - ~600ms.
3. Twin-Turbo Consensus - improves latency and throughput
4. Outpacing protection - combats malicious outpacing, which is prevalent in other ecosystems.
5. Market-based parallelisation - specialised parallelisation for DeFi

As you can see we know what we're talking about and all our ideas are more than realistic. If you still have doubts about our success, the sluices are always ready to sink in and send you home. Hahaha

For those who see the potential in our project and are ready to create its future together with us, listen carefully.
All of you will be given a form to fill in (form), in which you will have to give your details and convince us that you are the right person for us. Tell us what you know about DEX and what attracts you to our project, but before that I recommend you to read the project docs, it is right in front of you on the table (docs)

Now you are ready

We will review your application as soon as possible, and while we check your answers, you can get to work. Remember that we value creativity, initiative, honesty, and enthusiasm. Follow these parameters, and you are sure to be promoted. Get to the essentials!

We have a number of ranks within the ship; each rank has its privileges and responsibilities, but if you don't perform your duties, you will lose your rank and start over, so please don't try to take things half-heartedly.

CREW

The first rank, CREW, is an intermediate rank that shows that you are willing to spend time and that you are active and outgoing. You get this rank when you reach level 7 in our chat room. But don't think this is going to be easy for you, you will not only be watched by the moderators but also by those above you in rank, don't try to use meaningless words or spam, we don't appreciate this on our ship and you will be sent to free floats for breaking this condition. By the time our mate Arcane informs you of your promotion, your color will have changed to brown and a new section of our ship will open for you, you can find it under the name CREW. You are now ready to become an officer

Officer

Before you can get promoted and become an Officer, you will have to demonstrate what you are capable of. You will be asked to create at least one piece of work as our project ambassador, using the full range of your ideas. It could be a theme, an article, a dynamic presentation, a video, or a properly designed tweet using art. What does "properly framed" mean? Well, firstly, your tweet should always include our @SeiNetwork account and secondly, remember that our mission is to tell more people about what we do here, so use the hashtags #seilors, #sei, #seinami, #seiyes, #seilorgang, #IBCseilors, #cosmos, #DeFi, #blockchain. The more, the better!

If you choose an article, video, tutorial, or other type of content, create a tweet with a link to your work. Copy the link on your tweet and go to the CREW section that was recently opened for you. At the entrance you will be greeted and asked to fill in a form where you have to specify your work and tell us what you have learned about our project and why you like DEX, don't be greedy for words

We have received your request and will process it as soon as possible, while you can stroll around the deck and have a couple of our signature cocktails

Captain

You walk across the deck, and suddenly your color changes to this, which means you've done a good job and we've promoted you. You're an officer now. I raise a glass to you, I see your eyes light up and how hungry they are for more! Well then, I will tell you about the next rank: Captain. It is from this rank that you are guaranteed rewards from us!
At this stage, you have to show your commitment and perseverance, if you are the type of person who gives up half way through, don't even try.

We will choose captains once a month, at the end of each month to be exact, and the other captains will do this based on how active you are, how helpful you are to newbies, how friendly you are, and based on the five works that you have to do throughout the month. So if you want to be a captain, you have to actively help others and be a good guy.

Our main requirement is 5 works for the whole month. Please note that if you have less than 3 works by the 20th of the month, you will not be able to become Captain. Assignments must be submitted throughout the month, the minimum number of assignments should be 5, but I suggest you do more to increase your chances. Submit created work to #community-contetn and #sei-daily. If not related to Twitter, then insert a link to your work in the tweet. And never forget to mention our account and use the hashtags we discussed earlier, otherwise they won't be accepted.

So it's the end of the month. You're already an officer and open to #Sei-daily, #officers and #officer-announcements, which is exactly what we need, go to the #officer-announcements section and find the form. As I said, there will be an open call for entries at the end of the month, so please include your details and links to the top 5 entries for the month. Once submitted, each entry will be reviewed by the other Captains and they will be the ones to vote for who gets promoted to Captain. But remember, if you have done poorly, the leaders can override the Captains' decision, so put a piece of your soul into each entry every time. Good luck, ladies and gentlemen!
